Delete your EventMap account

Practical instructions based on the German deletion policy dated 1 September 2026. Read the full policy in German.
 

Delete in the app

Sign in to EventMap and open Profile → Delete account. Confirm the request to start deletion of your account and associated account data. In the German app, use Profil → Konto löschen.
 

Deletion is permanent. Signing out, uninstalling the app, or removing an individual My Events entry does not delete your account.
 

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email eventmap@moyo-engineering.com from the address linked to your EventMap account. Use the subject “EventMap Kontolöschung” and request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
 

Do not send your password or an identity-document copy. Limited information may be requested if needed to verify that you are entitled to delete the account.
 

What happens to your data?

Account data is deleted or separated from your identity, including your login account, profile and settings, preferences, saved activities and participation, and reminder/nearby-alert settings. Limited records may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, security or an open legal or rights case. Public event information unrelated to your account remains available.
 

Deleted data may temporarily remain in protected backups, outside normal product use, for a maximum of 12 months. See the full German policy for the detailed scope and retention exceptions.
 

Cancel Google Play separately

Deleting your EventMap account does not automatically cancel a Google Play Pro subscription. Manage or cancel it separately in Google Play to prevent further renewals.
 

Response time

External requests are answered within the applicable GDPR time limit; a response is usually sent within 48 hours. This is a response estimate, not a guarantee that every deletion is completed within 48 hours.
